VP800 Series: My projector
is plugged in, but no fan comes on.
- Change to a different wall outlet and power strip. If you are not
using a power strip, use one.
- Unplug and re-plug the power cord. Make sure the fit is tight. Press
the power switch so that the "1" is depressed. Listen for
the fan. If you get one, go to 420 My Fan Turns on, But My Lights Don’t
Come Up.
- Replace the external fuse. It is located in the power cord receptacle.
This is illustrated in the Manual, page 5.
- The fuse holder (lower portion of the receptacle) pulls out, staight
toward you.
- After removing the fuse holder, swap the fuse in use (visible) for
the spare (inside the square portion of the fuse holder).
- Place the fuse holder back in the receptacle. Make sure it is fully
inserted.
