VP800 Series: My picture is
scrolling on my Macintosh.
- Tap the "Up" arrow on your projector several times. It is
on the keypad, pointing towards the screen.
- Check your VGA cable. Take both ends out of the computer and projector.
Check that no pins are bent, pushed in, or broken. Reconnect everything,
turn on the projector, then reboot the computer.
- Check your Mac Adapters. Make sure that no pins are bent and that
every connection is screwed down tightly. Use only adapters supplied
by PLUS Vision Corp, which we give out, free of charge, Enhance Mac
Adapters with dipswitches. This versatile adapter corrects many Mac
problems. To get a set, contact PLUS Vision Corp. Technical Support
at 1.800.211.9001.
- If you have the dipswitch adapters, make sure that switches 3,4,8,9
are on (up). If you do not have the dipswitch adapter, use the Mac adapter
labeled "MAC 8*6."
- Adjust resolution. If you have a desktop computer, attach a desktop
monitor to the projector, so that you can see the Apple operating system
software.
a. Click the apple icon.
b. Go to "Control Panel."
c. Go to "Monitors and Sound" control panel.
d. Select "800x600" under the "Resolution" menu.
Choose between 60 and 72 Hertz (Hz). If the appropriate resolution is
already selected, select one with a different number of Hertz (Hz).
Reboot the computer.
