SCORE BIG THIS FOOTBALL SEASON WITH A COMPACT TABLETOP HDTV VIDEO PROJECTOR

ALLENDALE, NJ, September 23, 2002 - A big screen TV is as much a part of football season as cheerleaders and tailgate parties. And this season it's easier than ever to enjoy that big screen experience with the availability of a tabletop video projector that's the size of a dictionary, lighter than a boombox and half the cost of most other video projectors.

The new generation of compact, lightweight video projectors are easy to set up, less obtrusive than earlier generation large-screen TVs, and far more affordable than other types of video projectors, explained Jim Hurst, Sales Director for PLUS® Vision Corp. of America, makers of the HDTV-compatible PLUS Piano Avanti, the smallest and lightest home theater projector available (www.PlusHomeTheater.com).

"The Piano Avanti can easily be set up for a game, then just as easily put away so the living room can once again be used for living," said Hurst. "It's affordable, priced at just $3,299 - about half the price of most other video projectors, and can deliver the stunning image quality of high definition television."

The image - which can range from three to 16 feet - can be projected onto a white wall, onto a permanently installed screen, or onto any one of the widely available pop-up screens that roll up into their own carrying case and are a snap to set up and take down. What's more, the Piano Avanti can deliver games in crystal clear, widescreen HDTV where high definition broadcasts are available.

Combining proprietary technology with DLP™ technology from Texas Instruments, the PLUS Piano Avanti is the successor to the Piano HE-3100 that earned four industry awards and was dubbed a "mega value" by the enthusiast magazine Stereophile Guide To Home Theater. The PLUS Piano Avanti comes with a compact and easy-to-use remote control and all required connector cables. In addition, an optional ceiling mount kit and a soft carrying case are available.
