PLUS VISION INTRODUCES WORLD’S MOST FLEXIBLE,
AFFORDABLE ELECTRONIC WHITEBOARD
Starting at $799 the new versatile multi-use M-5 Copyboard is easily mounted on any surface
BEAVERTON, ORE. - March 4, 2004 - PLUS Vision Corporation of America,
innovators of meeting productivity tools, unveiled today a new addition
to its M-Series of "next generation" electronic whiteboards, the M-5 Copyboard.
Featuring a unique design that measures only 46 inches by 28 inches
and offers two writing surfaces — traditional white board or flip-chart
capabilities, the new PLUS M-5 Copyboard allows flexibility that is not
offered anywhere else in the marketplace today. The unit can be mounted
on any surface such as an office wall, a cubicle wall or a traditional stand.
"PLUS's electronic whiteboards have long enhanced the productivity of
conference room meetings," said S. Mark Hand, vice president of sales
and marketing. "With the versatility of the M-5, in all meetings — whether
in a cubicle, small meeting room or executive office — users will see
benefits such as increased workflow."
The new PLUS M-5 Copyboard allows information written on the writing
surface to be stored to internal memory, or an optional CF memory card.
To access the internal memory "drive" a USB cable is attached to a PC,
then the stored information is displayed directly on your monitor or
screen with no special software required. Notes stored in internal memory
or on a CF memory card can be easily printed out, stored on networks or
emailed to employees and business partners.
"Our goal with the M-5 was to allow our users great portability and
flexibility," Hand continues. "With the M-5’s small size and built-in memory,
an executive can take the board anywhere, including off-site meetings."
Perfect for training, education, or brainstorming sessions, PLUS Vision
copyboards enhance meeting productivity by allowing participants to focus
on the meeting speaker rather than focusing on taking notes. PLUS copyboards
are the only boards to feature built-in memory and CF memory card functionality,
enabling users to expand organization-wide communication. Remote or absent
participants can receive meeting notes via e-mail or the notes can be
included in an electronic presentation that can then be saved for future use.
The M-5 is backed by PLUS's nationwide service and support program, featuring
on-site service in most metropolitan areas. It comes standard with all the
necessary accessories to function straight out of the box including, dry
erase markers, a USB cable, wall-mounting brackets, power cord and more.
The M-5 Copyboard will be introduced with a street price of $799.
