Usage Ideas

Thanks to the hundreds of folks who submitted great ideas on how to use our projectors, other than projecting sales charts.

Ideas For Your Business

Tommy Boy?

"We have a web-based application that is easy to show off using our PLUS projector. It has been used in demos and most recently in a customer training class. I know that my usage is pretty normal. However, one day I walked into our conference room, having been invited to an 'all-employee pizza party' and to my surprise, someone had hooked up the PLUS projector to a VCR and playing on the wall was 'Tommy Boy'. People were sitting on the tables and floor packed into this room. We purchased the PLUS projector for business, but we also know that you have to have some fun at work. That we do. Thanks."

Is that Wedding Cake in Your Nose?

"We are a video production company. The most requested item for a wedding rehearsal dinner is a compilation of childhood photos and current photos of the Bride and Groom to be projected during dinner. We download the pictures and music and then project away! The PLUS projector is a quick and easy way to fulfill this request. It is lightweight, compact, and is so easy to set up."

Ideas For On-the-Road

The Perfect Exhibitionist

"We have used the PLUS projector with a foam board in a 10 x 10" booth at several exhibitions to illustrate our products, show our software running on a laptop and even show parts of my scientific presentations if a customer wants to see details. We have many visitors coming to the booth admiring the PLUS projector, and asking where to get it."

Ideas Just for Kids

What do an Airport, Cartoons, an AC Outlet and Kids have in Common?

"I was stranded at the airport with my two small children looking at a very long layover. The kids were tired of chasing the red dot from my laser pointer, so I connected to the internet, downloaded a few cartoons, set up the PLUS projector and my laptop and proceeded to show cartoons. Needless to say, several parents loved the idea!" E.P.

Life-sized Light Saber Training

"My 5-year old is really into Star Wars and wants to be a Jedi Knight. In order to give him the proper training and guidance, light saber training is essential. The PLUS projector helped provide the perfect training system that consisted of Darth Vader swinging his light saber at the viewer. After the PLUS projector had projected Darth onto the living room wall, my son generally became more efficient with his light saber. All in all, another successful mission for the PLUS projector. May the force be with you."
