New business standard with
an innovative short-focus zoom lens and bright mode.
|
|
Bright Mode allows the projector to disengage the color wheel
with a manual switch, resulting in a projected monochromatic image
with a 50% increase in brightness. When in Bright Mode, the image
will not be in color, but with a full greyscale. This is ideal
for projecting spreadsheets, x-rays, and any full text applications.
You no longer have to make the choice between a short-focus or
zoom lens with the XGA U5-632h. An innovative "short-focus
zoom lens" capable of doing double duty has been created
by PLUS for the U5-Series. Also, at 2300 lumens you won't have
to worry about ambient lighting ever again. The U5-632h can meet
all of your demands for the highest quality presentations.
The U5 series of projectors is the new business standard line
from PLUS. Texas Instruments' next-generation DLP DDR chip, an
updated design, improved optics, and much more improvements to
every feature. Use of the new DDR dramatically improves the projector's
contrast with a high 2000:1 ratio. Project crisp, sharp images
in which black looks black, and white is really white. PLUS's
unique Advanced Color Wheel (ACW) preserves brightness, while
allowing for enhanced color reproduction and an astoundingly clear
picture quality.
Further protect your investment: U5 series projectors can be set
to require the input of a password at startup. We recommend affixing
a label to your projector indicating that it is password-protected
to prevent tampering or theft. Also, the standard Kensington
security cable slot is featured on all PLUS projectors.

| Bright
Mode Function: |
|
 |
An
extra 1000 lumens of brightness! Choose the Bright Mode
option in the projector's menu, and an internal motor quietly
slides the color wheel away. When in Bright Mode, the image
will not be in color, but with a full greyscale. This is
ideal for projecting spreadsheets, x-rays, and any full
text applications. |
| Contrast
Ratio: |
|
 |
An
incredible Light/Dark contrast of 2000:1! Black is black,
and white is white. This provides clearer images of text
and fine drawings than other low-contrast projectors with
the same brightness, also allowing fine gradations of expression
with photographs and other images.

Short-Focus Zoom Lens: |
|
 |
The
short-focus zoom lens is a revolutionary advance for mobile
projectors, allowing you to project images onto a 60-inch
screen from a distance of about 5 feet. From a classroom
lectern to the whiteboard, or from your desk to the office
wall - you can now use the projector in confined spaces
with a range of applications broader than ever before. |
|
Advanced Color Wheel (ACW): |
|
 |
The Advanced
Color Wheel (ACW) is a PLUS technology that allows for greater
enhancement of color reproduction. Specifically, it addresses
the yellow and red shift that is common to most business
projectors. Using the ACW, yellows and reds appear bright
and saturated -- not muddy. |
