Lose the VGA cables and go wireless!
Now you can enjoy total freedom while running your presentations
during meetings or lectures. You can place the computer and the projector
anywhere in the room without being constrained by VGA cables.
The WiJET.G by PEGASUS Wireless is an 802.11g compliant device that can link
your computer to the display wirelessly. It replicates the image on your computer
screen to the remote display device, be it a projector, LCD display or plasma
screen, in real time. (Note:
WiJET.G is designed for data presentation applications such as PowerPoint. Its
ability to support full-motion video, such as DVD playback, is limited.)
The WiJET.G is easy to use. Just connect the WiJET.G to a remote display through the 15-pin VGA connector. Then, run the Presentation Session Manager (PSM) software provided by PEGASUS Wireless on a computer or PDA equipped with an 802.11b/g wireless LAN card. The computer’s
screen image will be transmitted wirelessly to the WiJET.G and displayed
through its connected projector or monitor.
The software also allows the computer to connect to the Internet, or LAN, and the projector/monitor simultaneously via a wireless access point. You can download a web page or the information from other computers on the network and display it through the projector/monitor wirelessly
The WiJET.G also allows you to send the screen image from a computer simultaneously to multiple selected display devices that are each connected to a WiJET.G over a network.
The WiJET.G supports the “Moderator” function that allows you to centrally control the wireless link between multiple computers and the projectors/displays. This is particularly useful, for example, in a classroom where a teacher can wirelessly connect each student’s computer to the projector in an orderly sequence and have the students share their work with the class. In addition, you can also use the built-in Scripter function to script an automated sequence of presentations.
Another very useful feature offered by the WiJET.G is the Dual Display function in PowerPoint. Now you can edit/preview a presentation file “on the fly” on a local screen while presenting the slideshow on the projector/display via WiJET.G. You can also use the built-in Scripter function to make a scripted sequence of presentations.
The WiJET.G supports industry standard 64/128-bit WEP encryption
to ensure wireless link security.
